Youth tennis has been scaled down to size, with smaller racquets, lower-bouncing balls and shorter courts that allow kids to have success playing right from the start. And as they mature and grow, tennis grows with them. The USTA offers Junior Team Tennis, Junior Tournaments and no-cut high school programs to get kids in the game – and to keep them playing for life.
The Little Pros Tennis Camp is back for the summer of 2019. The camp is put on by volunteers at the Hudson Tennis Association. Our goal with the camp is to help grow youth tennis in our community and give the kids something fun to do over the summer.
In 2019 the camp will run from 6:30pm to 7:30pm on the following Thursday nights and will be held at the Hudson High School Tennis Courts...
June 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th
July 11th, 18th and 25th
The cost this year is $50 per child.
The cost will include a free youth tennis racket for each NEW first time attendee.
Please click the following link to register and pay for the camp.
Please download the following waiver to be signed and turned in on the first day of the Little Pros Tennis Camp.
For the parents of the Little Pro participants...John Knutson will offer tennis lessons to parents who are beginners and would like to start learning the game. Come dressed appropriately with proper tennis shoes (No street shoes allowed on the HHS tennis courts), water and be prepared to have as much fun if not more than your kids. The lessons will run at the same time as the camp. 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
